Web Design & Development

I have designed websites for the last 2 years. I strive to create beautiful, clean and innovative sites. I use xHTML, CSS, a dash of javascript coding (jQuery is my bff) and the grid-system. I aim for usability, accessibility and keeping to web standards.

Brand Identity

Graphic design has been my passion for the last 7 years. A strong brand identity is essential in today's competitive consumerist world. I've crafted fresh identities for an array of different companies and individuals.

Digital Art & Illustration

I’ve considered myself an artist for as long as I can remember, I don’t draw stick people anymore, my recent works consist of a mixture of digital abstract, typography and arabic calligraphy.

Bio

From this point on I’ll refer to myself in the third-person, all the trendy creative people are doing it.

Imran was born on a mid-Summers night in 1987 - the year the Knoll brothers first developed Photoshop (anyone smell irony?). He currently lives in Bradford which is in the north of England (no, not Scotland).

Imran loved to draw as a child, and after his father bought the first family computer, Imran soon transferred his creativity from paper to MsPaint. He eventually moved onto working with Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver, after realizing MsPaint was not the industry standard.

These days he is studying for a degree in Architecture at a local University, learning the art of Arabic Calligraphy, selling his services as a designer to pay for University and generally being a twenty-something-year-old.

He loves mob movies, especially the Godfather I & II, Chappelle Show, the Office, ‘alternative’ Hip-hop, Dubstep, ol’ school kicks and other ‘designery’ things. Oh and he's a complete petrolhead.

Web

Crisp, fresh and sharp design is what I do best.
I strive for ease of use and clear navigation systems. I've produced web portfolios for Artists from different fields and I have been extremely lucky to have worked with some extremely talented people.

Branding

Examples of the branding work for different companies and individuals. Includes logos, stationary (letterheads, business cards, envelope templates etc) and promotional material (from flyers to roller banners to full-body car vinyl wraps).

Art

A selection of my digital art work.
My main obsessions are digital abstract, Arabic calligraphy and Typography. The underlying theme of my work is the capture of the feeling of continious motion and change.
